Doctor of Intercultural Studies

APPLY

The Doctor of Intercultural Studies is an advanced professional degree, designed to equip diaspora Christian leaders and mission workers for increased skills and effectiveness while serving in pluralistic and multiethnic contexts. This in-service program is designed for ministers who are already involved in cross-cultural work.

Trinitarian mission-oriented theological education

  1. Offer Missionaries, serving as professors in theological educational institutions in the Mission field, the opportunity to earn a degree from one of the best degree programs approved by the US Dept of Education
  2. Set up partnerships to allow for effective Missions by creating a global network with numerous renowned Mission Organizations
  3. Assist the modern church to accept and execute Christ’s great commission to become missional church
  4. As a Missional Seminary, participate in Trinitarian Missions by co-operating with Missionaries, Seminaries in the Mission field, Mission organizations as well as the diaspora immigrant church, in the face of anti-gospel challenges in the 21st century

Program Goal

  • To develop a comprehensive knowledge of the disciplines of contextual studies to apply their training to their current ministry context.
  • To develop a competence to apply original researches and writings that advance theological understanding for the sake of church, mission, and society.
  • To apply a breadth of knowledge of contextually appropriate and theologically sound missiology to their current ministry context.
  • To enable the student to apply contextual studies in its dimensions of teaching, and contextual ministries.
