Message from President

미국에는 역사와 전통이 훌륭한 수많은 다른 신학대학들이 있습니다. 하지만 저희 학교는 이민자들을 섬기는 교회를 비롯해 세계적인 선교 현장에 봉사할 지도자를 양성하는 사명을 가지고 성장해 왔습니다.

우리는 세계의 다양성의 중심지인 로스앤젤레스에 위치해 있으며, 균형 잡힌 신학과 진정한 경외심을 갖춘 제자들을 세상에 보내는 사명을 가지고 있습니다. 저희는 이러한 비전을 실현하기 위해 다음과 같은 5가지 핵심 원칙을 가지고 있습니다.

1. 고품질의 신학 교육

PTSA의 교수진은 미국에서 유명한 신학교에서 박사 학위를 취득한 90%명 이상의 교수들로 구성되어 있으며, 고품질의 신학 교육을 제공합니다. 학생들은 이 곳에서 하나님과 그분의 말씀을 체계적으로 이해하고, 건전한 연구를 수행할 수 있는 연구 능력을 갖추게 될 것입니다.

2. 역동적인 영적 형성 교육

PTSA의 영성 교육은 학생들에게 하나님, 자신, 그리고 다른 사람에 대한 지식과 사랑을 더 깊이 갖도록 이끌어내는 전반적인 통합적인 접근 방식을 취합니다. 이것은 그들이 하나님께서 주시는 어떤 환경에서도 그리스도 중심의 삶을 살아가면서 반영될 것입니다.

3. 글로벌 리더십 교육

PTSA의 리더십 교육은 종교 봉사의 마음을 가진 리더들을 양성하고, 모범을 통해 리더십을 발휘하도록 돕는 것을 목표로 합니다. 이 과정에서는 성경과 신학적 지식을 전문적인 리더십 기술과 통합하여 양성합니다.

4. 학제간 문화 교육

PTSA는 학생들이 진리를 비판적으로 파악할 수 있도록 교육하는 것을 목표로 합니다(즉, 특별 계시, 성경, 그리고 일반 계시인 인문학, 자연과학, 사회과학, 예술 등 일반 학문 분야에서 모두). 또한 성경적 관점에서 진리를 평가하고, 신학과 통합하며, 자신의 삶과 사역에 적용할 수 있도록 노력합니다.

5. 이중언어 교육

PTSA는 2014년 1월 산타페 언어 및 문화 학교를 개교했으며, 학생들과 지역 주민들에게 영어와 문화 교육을 제공하여 학생들이 보다 효과적인 세계 선교에 대비할 수 있도록 지원하고 있습니다. 저희 기관은 모든 민족의 제자를 양성하고 파송하기 위해 최선을 다할 것입니다. 저희는 아버지와 아들과 성령의 이름으로 그들을 세례를 주며 (마태복음 28:19-20), 모든 민족의 제자를 양성할 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.
