CPU Class Format

Blended Learning Format

CPU uses a blended learning system designed to support both in-person and online education.

Course Management Platforms

All courses are conducted and managed through Canvas, the school’s official learning management platform. Doctoral program courses are conducted and managed through Populi.

What Is the Blended Class Format?

The blended class format combines synchronous and asynchronous learning methods so that students can participate in courses in multiple ways.

01

In-Person Live Classes

Students attend live classroom sessions at the scheduled time each week. These classes are held in person and allow students to engage directly with the professor and classmates.

02

Zoom Live Classes

Students who are unable to attend on campus may participate in the same live classroom session through Zoom Live. This allows off-campus students to join the class in real time.

03

Recorded Video Classes

Live classroom sessions are recorded and made available for students to view asynchronously. Students may watch the recorded lectures according to their schedule while following the course requirements.

Additional formats may be offered depending on the course, program, and semester.

Online recorded lecture courses Zoom Live intensive courses Ph.D. program courses Selected summer courses for bachelor’s and master’s programs
Note

Course formats may vary depending on the program, degree level, semester, and individual course requirements. Students should refer to the course syllabus and official school announcements for specific class format details.
