Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (MACP)

 The MACP program integrates psychological science with Christian faith perspectives to prepare students for counseling ministry and mental health practice. Coursework covers counseling theories, psychopathology, assessment, group therapy, marriage and family counseling, and supervised clinical practicum.

Program Goal

The Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program provides graduate-level counseling education for students preparing for counseling ministry in Korean churches, Korean American churches, and mission fields. The program is designed to equip students to help individuals and families navigate cultural transitions and psychological adjustment within churches and Christian organizations. In particular, it supports the KPCA churches’ commitment to preparing Korean-speaking Christian counselors.
